This address is commonly referred to as' IP address' or' IP address.' The IP address is a binary 32-bit address consisting of two sub-addresses identifying the network and the network operator. There are five classes of IP addresses:
Class A In the first bit of a class and address is set to 0 always. It leaves only seven bits for the address's network portion. Class A addresses differ from 0.0.0.0–127.0.0.0.0. This means there can be only 128 numbers in the network.

Class C addresses are set to 1 for the first two bits, and the third to 0. This means that this address type can be assigned to 2,097,152 networks. The numbers vary from 192.0.0.0-184.108.40.206.
Class D The first three bits of Class D addresses are set to 1, and 0 is set to the fourth bit. For multicasting applications, the Class D addresses are used. The numbers range from 220.127.116.11 – 18.104.22.168 and are reserved for groups with multicast.
Class E addresses are for research and testing purposes only and have never been used in any standard form.
Class A and B are assigned to entities of enormous and medium scale. Class C is the most common address class allocated to small businesses and the most commonly used IP addresses. Small and medium-sized internet service providers buy a pool of Class C IP addresses that are assigned to their clients. Internet Service Providers provide their clients with dynamic (shared) IP addresses.
The reason for this is they're cheaper and more popular since they're shared. Second, people allocated IP addresses aren't using them 24/7. So, when a user signs or there is no traffic to a website, they delegate their IP addresses to other users and sites.
The advantages with Class dynamic IP addresses are that they are more straightforward and more practical for websites and consumers that are not Internet heavy users. If you have five people sharing a WIFI in your house, a complex address will be allocated to you, and if you don't use the internet, your address will be assigned to another person who just logs in.
When you use the internet again, a different IP address will be allocated to you. This IP address will be allocated to your Internet service provider from the available pool of Class C IP addresses purchased.
If you've just purchased a website hosting service, you'll be inquisitive to find out which websites share the same C-class IP address. Because this type of IP address is most likely assigned to your website, and the address is shared with other sites.
